Cool awesome concert!

After staging a successful concert here in Singapore previously in April 2008, Mando-pop singer David Tao returned to stage the Singapore leg of his current concert — ‘David Tao in Space: The Rock and Talk Show’ at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last night.

Thanks to complimentary ticket given by Michael Kwah, of whom I knew at an acting class hosted by local film director Kelvin Sng last year.

Michael came attending the concert with Royston Tan, another local fim director who produced the movie “881”.

We arranged to meet at the North Entrance @ Singapore Indoor Stadium at 7pm.

From the starting point, David took his audience on a journey of music. Besides singing most of his top hits like "爱,很简单"and "普通朋友", he also sang many English songs from the 70’s and 80’s, citing them as songs that strongly influenced his songwriting and musical style.

Guess what? David Tao mixed young singing choral voices with his rock music. That’s creative and cool!

Of course, there was encore. The concert ended at about 11.15pm.
