Cochlear Implant Surgery (Pt 6)

Using the accessory given by my audiologist, attaching it to my cochlear implant device, for laptop or iPhone. For the first time in my life, listening to music using my right ear is so damn good. Especially listening to chinese instrumental music and other soft pop songs.

I can actually hear the bass and pitch of the music. I can also hear my own voice and voices of other people. 🙂

But having said that, there is still quite a way to go, for I was told that I need to train myself to cultivate the ability to listen and identify human speech (or words) without looking at the person(s). Afterall, most hearing-impaired individuals are visual people. And of course, take reliance off the hearing aid which I wear on my left ear.

I know I can do it one day. Someday. ^_^
